Turdiu Residence Outdoor Waterproofing
In this project, our teams were tasked with waterproofing the gardens and other exterior locations of a residential building.
But the challenge in this project was that the surface to be waterproofed was not level, overloaded with construction wastes and soil. To tackle this problem, our specialists started to clean the area with heavy machineries to create a clean and level surface. After that all the sharp corners were filleted with structural repair mortar.
When the surface was ready, a moisture resistant polyurethane-based primer was applied to the surface in order to provide resistance to environmental effects.
And as the final touch, a polyurethane-based, single component, liquid elastic insulation material was applied to the entire exterior surface to establish a long-lasting waterproof coating that has resistance to constant water contact, freezing and other environmental effects that is expected to occur on outdoor spaces.
